A Brief History of Godnostic Congregation

We believe in God, but we challenge the notion that a divine Creator selectively reveals themselves to some while excluding others or that one group holds absolute righteousness. Such ideas do not align with the logic of a Creator who governs the vast universe. Furthermore, the reality of religions amassing wealth from their followers while using faith to justify violence and atrocities throughout history calls for an alternative approach—one rooted in common sense, transparency, and genuine faith.

The Godnostic Congregation was founded on these principles:

  1. Faith Without Exploitation: Belief in God should not lead to financial exploitation or manipulation.

  2. Transparency and Accountability: Our bylaws ensure openness, protecting against fraud and fostering trust.

  3. Collective Good: Through shared decision-making, our members have a direct say in charitable efforts, ensuring that aid goes where it is most needed.

While we are a small group today, we aim to grow by embracing common sense, inclusivity, and a shared belief in doing good. Together, we hope to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of faith and humanity.
